This informative mini-camp weekend will provide basic information to those individuals that want to audition for drum corps but may not know what to expect. You will be provided with instruction in brass, percussion and guard techniques that will help you prepare for your audition. In addition, there will be a session provided that will introduce you to what you can expect if you make the corps. This fun day will introduce you to competitive drum corps and instruction by the Teal Sound Caption Heads and techs. Even if you aren't ready to be a part of drum corps this season, this is a great learning experience and a way for you to see if drum & bugle corps is in your future.

What to bring to Teal Sound Audition Camp
As everyone will be staying at Middleburg HS, here are the items you will need to bring with you for the audition weekend.
- Sleeping Bag or Air Mattress
- Pillow
- Blanket ( it does tend to get a little cold at night in the gym)
- Toiletries
- Towel
- Comfortable clothes and tennis shoes
- Shower Shoes
- Cap
- Pencil
- Your instrument; brass, snare, tenors, bass drum, rifle, sabre & flag
- Mouthpiece & sticks. Keyboard players bring your mallets
- BRASS PLAYERS - Your prepared audition piece
- All paperwork – Member App, Medical Info, and all other forms (this will help speed up the registration process)
- Registration Fee (if you have not already paid)
Above all, make sure to bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. We want you to be at your very best for the weekend. NOTE: The 2 satellite auditions in Atlanta, GA and Columbia, SC are only 1 day auditions and you will not be required to spend the night.

Teal Sound and our transportation provider, Magical Charters, will provide round trip bus transportation from Orlando and South Florida. Please look for the charter bus that has Magical Charters on the side of it. The bus is limited to the first 54 people that RSVP.
You must RSVP below no later than November 24, 2009. Please remember to have cash on hand in the amount of $25.00 for the Round Trip. If you do not have cash money, you will not be allowed to ride the bus.

For those interested on riding Tri-Rail from Miami or Ft. Lauderdale to Boynton Beach:
Max. cost for a Tri-Rail ticket from Miami to Boynton Beach is $6.25 and Fort Lauderdale is $5.00.

Take the SR-528-TOLL/US-17/US-92/US-441/ORANGE BLOSSOM TR exit, EXIT 254, toward AIRPORT. Merge onto US-441 N/S ORANGE BLOSSOM TRL/ORANGE BLOSSOM TRL S/US-17-92/US-17 N/US-92 E via the exit on the LEFT toward ORLANDO. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto SAND LAKE RD W/SAND LAKE RD/FL-482 E/W SAND LAKE RD. Turn RIGHT onto GOLDEN SKY LN. Turn RIGHT onto FLORIDA MALL AVE.
Bus will depart from Florida Mall near Macy's at 5:45 pm SHARP!! Don't be late!!!!
Due to circumstances beyond our control, anyone wishing to catch the bus from the Tampa Bay area, you will need to make arrangements to be at the Orlando location.
It is our hope that if we have enough people needing transportation from these areas, we will be able to continue this service for all camps throughout the season.
